Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s North American Corporate Security & Emergency Management Department (CSEM) is seeking a Senior Analyst to support fire protection, emergency management, response readiness, and site coordination across North American operations. This role is part of CSEM and reports to the Manager of Physical Security And Emergency Management Technology. The position supports TMNA fire protection and emergency management responsibilities, including response planning, project coordination, corrective action tracking, root cause analysis, readiness reporting, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings practical emergency response experience, technical systems awareness, project coordination skills, and the ability to translate requirements, AHJ expectations, FM Global guidance, industry best practice, and site feedback into actions that improve compliance, reliability, readiness, and Kaizen.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support enterprise fire protection and emergency management programs across Toyota sites, including response planning, fire brigade readiness, hazardous materials response, rescue capability, incident command coordination, and emergency operations support. Develop and standardize procedures, checklists, training materials, drill templates, and site-facing readiness tools. Coordinate with site leaders, fire teams, security teams, EHS, facilities, vendors, contractors, AHJs, and insurance partners to align readiness activities and project execution with Toyota standards, NFPA requirements, FM Global guidance, local expectations, and industry best practice. Support fire protection, fire alarm, emergency notification, radio communication, and related infrastructure projects by tracking requirements, deliverables, schedules, risks, site impacts, acceptance needs, and operational readiness. Support planning, delivery, observation, and after‑action review of drills, tabletop exercises, fire brigade evolutions, hazardous material scenarios, rescue drills, and site readiness activities. Track equipment readiness, response capability, corrective actions, open items, and improvement priorities to help sites maintain readiness and regulatory alignment. Review drill results, incident lessons learned, assessments, project issues, and site feedback to identify trends, readiness gaps, contributing factors, and opportunities for improvement. Conduct or support structured root cause analysis and corrective action closure for fire protection, alarm, communication, response equipment, project execution, and readiness‑related failures. Maintain readiness trackers, project updates, corrective action logs, RCA summaries, and leadership briefing materials that highlight risk, overdue items, resource needs, and improvement priorities.

What You Bring

  • Experience in emergency management, industrial emergency response, fire protection, life safety, emergency communications, project coordination, or related operational readiness programs.
  • Working knowledge of emergency preparedness, incident command, response planning, drills and exercises, responder training, and site‑level readiness practices.
  • Familiarity with applicable emergency response, fire protection, life safety, and operational readiness standards, including OSHA, NFPA, ICN/NIMS, FM Global guidance, and AHJ expectations.
  • Ability to coordinate schedules, stakeholders, documentation, readiness data, action items, project deliverables, risks, and follow‑through across multiple sites.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing readiness information, supporting root cause analysis, tracking corrective actions, identifying recurring gaps, and preparing practical recommendations.
  • Strong written communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to prepare leadership‑ready updates and collaborate with site leaders, emergency responders, security teams, EHS, facilities, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and the ability to operate with discretion, professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment when handling sensitive emergency response, security, compliance, and site readiness information.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Added Bonus
