Job description

The salary range for the role is $73,000 - $90,000/year + Bonus

As a Senior Analyst (FinServ) professional, you will be a vital member of a new and fast-growing vertical at Numerator - Financial Services. Your focus will be on supporting a core set of dynamic, high-performing financial services clients through ad-hoc projects and analyses, while driving new client growth. Numerator's financial services clients include Buy Side, Sell Side, and Federal Reserve Banks (excluding Private Equity clients).

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • Guide client users on Numerator's Insights platform to navigate, interpret results, and design reports to answer key business questions.
  • Leverage consumer panel and survey data to deliver insights addressing clients' needs, from macro market trends to individual tickers.
  • Assist with lead-generation efforts for specific Financial Services products and services.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Numerator data, solutions, and services, highlighting their differentiators.
  • Present interesting consumer behavior facts in industry forums, articles, and whitepapers.
  • Handle legal and compliance requests, including due diligence questionnaires.
  • Travel as needed to support responsibilities.

Skills & Requirements

  • Knowledge of and passion for financial markets, especially Consumer equities in the US and/or Macro.
  • High curiosity and desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships as a trusted partner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, especially in client-facing situations.
  • Proven analytical skills: analyzing data, deriving insights, and planning execution.
  • Effective time and workload management across multiple projects.
  • Understanding of syndicated and household panel data (Nielsen, IRI) is highly valued.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years relevant experience; Finance degree preferred.
  • Experience in consulting, product, sales support, or service delivery in relevant data/software industries, or as a financial analyst (Buy Side or Sell Side experience is a plus).
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software for retail and consumer goods industries (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, NPD, Dunnhumby) is highly valued.
