Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and annual forecasting processes with leadership and CFO.
• Develop pro forma and scenario analyses for M&A activity.

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key hands-on role in budgeting and forecasting, M&A financial analysis, performance reporting, and strategic projects. This is a high-visibility position that partners closely with leadership and provides meaningful exposure to private equity-backed operations, M&A activity, and executive-level reporting. What You Will Do

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Support the annual budgeting process in close partnership with the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, and CFO.
• Maintain and update the annual forecast model on a periodic basis, incorporating actuals and revised assumptions.
• Prepare budget/forecast versus actual analyses with clear commentary on key drivers and trends.

M&A Support

• Support pro forma M&A financial modeling, including utilization rates, overhead rate analysis, and integration assumptions.
• Track and report on financial performance of acquired companies post-close, supporting integration activities as needed.

Strategic Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports for internal stakeholders and the Company's financial sponsor.
• Analyze business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variance trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with department and functional leaders to provide real-time visibility into overhead and operating expenses.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that enhance decision-making across the organization.

Strategic Projects

• Support high-priority finance initiatives, which may include:
• Overhead rate tracking, projections, and optimization analysis.
• Cost savings identification and monitoring.
• Acquisition integration synergy tracking and cross-sell opportunity analysis.
• Ad hoc financial analysis in support of executive and sponsor requests.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
• Support automation initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Document processes and build scalable reporting templates to support the growing finance function.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Licenses/Certifications

• CPA or CMA a plus.

Software

• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial planning tools; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• Proficiency with A.I. tools preferred.
