Job summary

WSB is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic FP&A initiatives in a high-visibility role. You’ll partner with leadership on M&A financial analysis, performance reporting, and executive-level insight across private equity-backed operations.

You will develop and maintain forecasting models, deliver timely financial reports, and drive process improvements with automation and scalable templates to support a growing finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA or CMAa plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the budgeting process in close partnership with the Director, FP&A, and CFO.
• Maintain and update the annual forecast model, incorporating actuals and revised assumptions.
• Prepare budget/forecast vs actual analyses with clear commentary on key drivers and trends.
• Support pro forma M&A financial modeling, including utilization rates, overhead rate analysis, and integration assumptions.
• Track and report on financial performance of acquired companies post-close, supporting integration activities as needed.
• Prepare accurate, timely financial reports for internal stakeholders and the Company's financial sponsor.
• Analyze performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variance trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with leaders to provide real-time visibility into overhead and operating expenses.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to enhance decision-making.

What you will do:

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Support the annual budgeting process in close partnership with the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, and CFO.
• Maintain and update the annual forecast model on a periodic basis, incorporating actuals and revised assumptions.
• Prepare budget/forecast versus actual analyses with clear commentary on key drivers and trends.

M&A Support

• Support pro forma M&A financial modeling, including utilization rates, overhead rate analysis, and integration assumptions.
• Track and report on financial performance of acquired companies post-close, supporting integration activities as needed.

Strategic Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports for internal stakeholders and the Company's financial sponsor.
• Analyze business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variance trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with department and functional leaders to provide real-time visibility into overhead and operating expenses.
• Develop andmaintaindashboards and reporting tools that enhance decision-making across the organization.

Strategic Projects

• Support high-priority finance initiatives, which may include:
• Overhead rate tracking, projections, and optimization analysis.
• Cost savings identification and monitoring.
• Acquisition integration synergy tracking and cross-sell opportunity analysis.
• Ad hoc financial analysis in support of executive and sponsor requests.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
• Support automation initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Document processes and build scalable reporting templates to support the growing finance function.

What you will bring:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, orrelatedfieldrequired.

Experience:

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• Proficiency with A.I. tools preferred.
