CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst to support Caremark Underwriting leadership by researching, validating, and synthesizing information for timely decisions. You will explore pricing drivers, forecast outputs, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain clarifications and data sources.

The role requires strong analytical ability, Excel mastery, and comfort handling large data sets in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant professional experience in analytics, finance, underwriting, actuarial, forecasting, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and modeling.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts for data extraction and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ad hoc requests by gathering facts, performing analyses, and delivering clear leadership readouts.
• Explain changes in pricing/forecasting results and identify key drivers and data shifts.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to obtain answers, data lineage, and interpretation of results.
• Build Excel-based analyses to validate assumptions, reconcile outputs, and support decisions.
• Work with structured datasets and perform data extraction/validation using SQL concepts.
• Maintain organized notes and reference materials to improve repeatability and reduce rework.
• Prepare briefs and capture action items; represent leadership in select meetings when needed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline recurring requests and improve output clarity and reliability.
