Job summary

Argus Media is seeking a journalist to conduct price discovery and analyze spot markets while writing daily and weekly news and feature articles. You will network with industry contacts in the natural gas liquids and LPG markets and quickly become a subject matter expert within your portfolio.

You will travel to conferences, present papers, and lead webinar sessions, delivering high-quality journalism with independence and integrity in a fast-paced energy and commodities environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, economics, business, history or a related field.
• Proven reporting, writing and collaboration skills with analytical ability.
• Basic understanding of markets; experience covering physical commodity markets is a plus.
• Strong accuracy and ability to meet deadlines; proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct price discovery and analyze spot markets.
• Write daily and weekly news articles, features and editorials.
• Network with contacts in the natural gas liquids and LPG industry.
• Lead coverage within a designated product portfolio as a subject matter expert.
