  • Oversee the new hire orientation process, including tracking completion of the New/Transfer Employee EHS Orientation Checklist and delivering orientation training via web‑based platforms or in‑person sessions.
  • Lead the EHS communications program by developing the annual communication plan and creating site‑specific messages and EHS tips for leadership and employees.
  • Complete, update, and maintain EHS risk assessments related to the control of hazardous energy for research- and business‑related machines and equipment.
  • Develop and revise job hazard analyses using the EHS software platform and complete periodic certified PPE hazard assessments.
  • Maintain compliance with EPA’s updated refrigerant management regulations for high‑Global Warming Potential hydrofluorocarbons used in HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Support routine EHS compliance tasks using the EHS software platform and assist with sustainability activities such as Green Gemba walks and water leak inspections.
  • Assist with equipment inspections and inventory maintenance for above‑ground storage tanks, transformers, oil/water separators, pumps, oxygen sensors, ladders, soldering workstations, and hazardous chemicals.
  • Perform additional duties such as ergonomics assessments and industrial hygiene monitoring as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have

  • 2+ years of relevant EHS experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations, including OSHA, NIOSH, and EPA resources.
  • Strong technical, interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
