Job summary

RXO Inc. accelerates global trade through a robust customs compliance program.

As a Senior Analyst, Customs, you will serve as a subject matter expert for import regulations and compliance, supporting Customs Brokerage operations, providing regulatory guidance, conducting training, and identifying opportunities to reduce risk while ensuring adherence to CBP requirements. You will manage customs documentation, oversee monetary transactions related to imports, and assist in post-entry filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5 years' customs brokerage/international trade experience.
• Strong knowledge of customs entry procedures and CBP regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing customs documentation of foreign merchandise to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Overseeing the completion of monetary transactions associated with the import in a timely manner.
• Preparing post-entry customs documentation to resolve errors and omissions, ensuring timely entry declarations with proper documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with government import laws and regulations through audits, training, and regular communication.
• May be involved in dispute resolution with Importers of Records.

Compensation for this role is $75,000-$85,000 annually. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As a Senior Analyst, Customs at RXO, you will serve as a subject matter expert for import customs regulations and compliance programs. You will support Customs Brokerage operations by monitoring compliance, providing regulatory guidance, conducting training, and identifying opportunities to reduce risk while ensuring adherence to U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements. Become a part of our growing, dynamic team and help drive operational excellence across our Customs Brokerage organization.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Managing customs documentation of foreign merchandise to ensure its accuracy and completeness
• Overseeing the completion of monetary transactions associated with the import in a timely manner
• Preparing post-entry customs documentation to resolve errors and omissions, ensuring that entry declarations are timely submitted and accompanied by appropriate documentation
• Ensuring compliance with government import laws and regulations through audit process, training, and regular communication
• May be involved in problem regulation regarding customs disputes with Importers of Records

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of customs brokerage, customs compliance, or international trade experience
• Strong knowledge of customs entry procedures and CBP regulations
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB)

It'd be great if you also have:

• Experience with in-bond administration and ISF compliance
• Experience conducting compliance audits and regulatory reviews
• Knowledge of tariff classification and import compliance programs
• Experience developing and delivering training programs
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
