Job summary

BBVA is seeking a Corporate Banking Senior Analyst in New York to support Relationship Managers in developing and delivering BBVA's products to corporate clients across industries. The role involves coordinating with Risk, Legal, Operations, and Finance to execute transactions and prepare proposals.

The candidate will analyze international markets, work with teams in the USA, Latin America, Europe and Asia, and participate in Credit Committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years minimum of work experience; MBA preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled tools to support analysis, research, content preparation, and day-to-day efficiency; Reuters and Bloomberg a plus
• Understanding of international economics and markets, especially Spain and Latin America.
• Credit Training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify client needs and respond to requests promptly.
• Coordinate transaction closings and manage documentation.
• Prepare client meeting materials and call plans.
• Research and evaluate potential new client relationships.
• Prepare transaction summaries and Risk-Adjusted-Return analyses.
