Team Summary
The Central Analytics & Reporting (CA&R) team provides centralized support in the completion of existing reporting deliverables and requests, including data management, reviewing reporting outputs for content, compliance, format, and promoting consistency and standardization. The team increasingly leverages automation tools to streamline data preparation, enhance quality checks, and accelerate reporting cycles. CA&R also creates new reporting dashboards and automated outputs to deliver best‑in‑class reporting for investors and drive efficiencies in production and review processes.
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst plays a key role in producing recurring reporting deliverables, including quarterly investor updates (QUI). Responsibilities include reviewing content prepared by deal teams, drafting content with current technology, coordinating required data, assembling accurate drafts, and responding to internal and external data requests. The analyst must master the Carlyle data model, prioritize competing tasks, and collaborate on technology projects to improve reporting tooling.
Responsibilities
- Recurring Reporting Deliverables
- Prepare investor reporting deliverables such as QUI.
- Review and follow up on content drafted by deal teams and Fund Management.
- Coordinate data needs with other departments and communicate timelines.
- Compile final deliverables following CA&R review protocols.
- Own the reporting process by resolving open items and driving timely completion.
- Data Requests
- Coordinate and complete ad hoc LP data requests.
- Create new reports or dashboards using available tools.
- Self‑check work for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Ensure stakeholders understand underlying data, key assumptions, and context.
- Value Stream Projects
- Participate in prioritization and development of technology enhancements.
- Share ideas and solicit input to shape technology and operational strategy.
- Attend requirements meetings, status updates, and user testing.
- Draft communications and trainings for Fund Management stakeholders.
- Data Collection & Validation
- Support data collection across Carlyle by managing inputs.
- Validate data for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with reporting requirements.
- Identify variances or quality issues and coordinate resolution.
Qualifications
- Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
- Professional Experience: Minimum two years of relevant experience required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi) required; ability to integrate AI tools into workflows.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated record of quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
- Communication: Strong, confident, and proactive communication with Investment Professionals and Fund Management; frequent direct communication required.

Benefits
- Base salary range: $100,000 to $115,000 (Washington, DC).
