Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college.
• 2+ years of professional analytics work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL; knowledge of R, Python, or SAS preferred.
• Experience with Google BigQuery and Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Caesars Entertainment’s Enterprise Analytics mission by providing analytical support and insights that drive profit.
• Analyze player behavior, campaign performance, and customer trends to inform Casino Marketing strategy and business decisions.
• Interact with senior leaders to develop and refine analysis requests.
• Identify business opportunities through analytics and creative solutions.
• Conduct rigorous analytics related to profitability, operational processes, customer service, revenue growth, resource optimization, investment mix, competitive dynamics, customer behavior, and pricing optimization.
• Distill large datasets into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop presentation materials and communicate findings to senior management in verbal and written formats.
• Assist Analyst I and II team members with analytics execution and presentation materials.
• Participate in discussions with senior clients and help drive strategic project development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and support reporting that provides visibility into trends and business performance drivers.
• Use SQL, R, Tableau, Google BigQuery, and Python to develop analytics and reporting tools.
• Integrate new technologies and tools into department processes.
• Implement process and reporting improvements that drive efficiencies.
• Lead projects requiring input from Analytics team members and contribute to cross-Analytics projects.
• Train, onboard, and develop junior analysts in technical skills, tools, and processes.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college
• 2+ years of professional work (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated business acumen for the casino industry; ability to articulate fundamental drivers of business performance
• Advanced skills in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets
• Proficiency in SQL
• Ideally proficiency in one or more of R, VBA, SAS, or Python
• Experience working with Google BigQuery
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strength in critical thinking, problem solving, and written and verbal communication
• Comfort articulating complex information and analyses to varied audiences
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to quickly learn relevant database applications and software
• Ability to interact with and influence key stakeholders, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate, high-quality work
