Role Purpose Statement
The role involves executing critical supply chain activities with a focus on data analysis for financial reporting and driving improvements across our supply chain processes. You will be at the forefront of identifying and implementing efficiencies, with a keen eye on achieving significant gains in operational performance and food cost reduction. This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain Management.
Location: This position will be located in our Tampa Bay Operations Center and will also require travel to our Fort Myers, FL facility.
Main Accountabilities
Business Strategy & Innovation: Lead the design and deployment of advanced tools and data analytics to provide insightful reporting on Supply Chain performance across all CSCs, empowering teams with actionable intelligence.
Supply Chain Mastery: As a key leader within the Supply Chain team, spearhead the creation and implementation of the Food Cost Tracker and other technical reporting systems. Oversee documentation processes, ensure quality control, and coordinate training to keep teams aligned with industry standards. Collaborate with specialized programs to maintain cutting-edge tools and comprehensive documentation for optimal performance.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze supply chain data, including spend, food costs, inventory, and compliance. Develop solutions for root causes, drive continuous improvement, and refine demand-planning methods based on consumption trends. Integrate analytical tools into financial and performance reporting to align with corporate goals and improve operational metrics.
Challenge existing metrics by developing advanced measurement tools to enhance planning accuracy and overall performance.
Collaborative Innovation & Leadership: Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic insights, reduce food costs, and improve efficiency. Handle goods receipts and APW issues to ensure seamless operations. Support high-impact projects and lead teams toward strategic excellence.
Reporting: This role reports to the CSC Materials Manager or Supervisor, with a dotted line to the Supply Chain Management team for training, reporting, and mentorship.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in business or supply chain fields.
• 2-5 years of success in similar roles, with a record of operational excellence and innovation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite; familiarity with SAP MM and CBase is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering impactful presentations.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain management, and Purchasing is preferred.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Strong time management skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
