Job summary

Role Description

The Senior Analyst / Appraiser is a full-time, on-site position based in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves performing detailed commercial real estate valuation analyses, including market research, financial modeling, and preparation of appraisal reports for a variety of property types. The individual will review leases, operating statements, and other property-level documents, and apply appropriate valuation methodologies such as income, sales comparison, and cost approaches. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients to clarify assignment scopes, meeting project deadlines, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. The Senior Analyst / Appraiser will also support and mentor junior team members, contribute to business development efforts, and help maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and commercial real estate valuation methods.
• Proficiency in market research, data interpretation, and preparation of clear, well-supported written reports and presentations.
• Familiarity with appraisal standards and guidelines (e.g., USPAP), and ability to apply professional judgment in complex assignments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with appraisal or real estate analytics software is beneficial.
• State-certified general appraiser license strongly preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant graduate education is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and uphold high standards of accuracy and ethics.
• Knowledge of the Jacksonville and broader Florida commercial real estate markets is highly beneficial.
