Valbridge Property Advisors Milwaukee seeks a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser to join our Florida team, valuing diverse commercial properties with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

You will perform independent appraisals, analyze data, and prepare detailed USPAP-compliant reports across retail, office, industrial, multifamily and land topics.

Qualifications

  • Certified General Appraiser license in Florida is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in real estate, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of commercial real estate appraisal experience.
  • Proficiency with appraisal software (Argus, CoStar, Excel) and report writing platforms.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform independent appraisals of commercial real estate (retail, office, industrial, multifamily, land).
  • Collect, verify, and analyze market data (sales, leases, income, expenses).
  • Prepare comprehensive written appraisal reports per USPAP and client needs.
  • Conduct site inspections and document key property characteristics.
  • Research zoning, land use, and regulatory constraints relevant to valuation.
  • Provide expert analysis of highest and best use, trends, and investment potential.
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, lenders, and other stakeholders.

  • Collect, verify, and analyze market data, including sales, leases, income, expenses, and cost information.
  • Prepare comprehensive written appraisal reports in compliance with USPAP, state regulations, and client requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess property condition, and document key characteristics.
  • Research zoning, permitting, and land use restrictions relevant to property valuation.
  • Provide expert analysis of highest and best use, market trends, and investment potential.
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, lenders, accountants, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board requirements and continuing education standards.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and protect confidential client information.

Requirements
