Job summary

Fitch Ratings seeks a Senior Analyst to join the ABS Group in our New York or Chicago office. You will analyze credit, legal, and structural aspects of ABS transactions and support rating workflows by monitoring a portfolio of transactions.

The role requires strong communication, data analysis skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a global team. Successful candidates will have a BA/BS and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with a solid understanding of finance fundamentals

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort analyzing large datasets and deriving meaningful conclusions.
• Interest in building a career in credit research and ratings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze key credit, legal, and structural aspects of ABS transactions.
• Support rating workflows by assisting in the analysis and monitoring of a portfolio of ABS transactions.
• Utilize cashflow models to help form opinions on future performance.
• Stay up to date on sector trends and communicate findings to the team and external stakeholders.
