Job summary

Angi is seeking a Senior Analyst to drive analytics for the pro sales organization and optimize compensation, staffing, and performance. You will build dashboards, forecast staffing needs, and design commission plans to align with business goals.

You will partner with sales, operations, and product teams to implement tools and models that improve profitability and efficiency, while communicating insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years of analytical experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or home services.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills (Python or R).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI/Looker).
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for modeling and forecasting.
• Experience designing sales/commission plans.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for automation.
• Experience with headcount planning and sales analytics.
• Proven ability to develop predictive models to improve sales performance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Senior Analyst to join our team as a senior individual contributor. This role will focus on tracking and optimizing the performance of our pro sales team by leveraging advanced analytics to drive strategic business decisions and develop, monitor, and adjust compensation and commission plans. You will work closely with sales executives, sales operations teams, and product managers to determine optimal staffing levels, report on and analyze the performance of our sales reps, and identify actions to optimize productivity and profitability. As a key contributor, you will also support priority initiatives and the launch of new tools to improve overall sales efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to monitor the performance of Angi's sales organization
• Review business, staffing, and turnover trends and develop forecasting models to determine optimal staffing and hiring levels across Angi's sales teams
• Design and implement sales commission plans that align with company goals, drive performance, and ensure competitiveness in the market
• Analyze sales performance and compensation data to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends and gaps, and recommend adjustments to optimize results
• Develop models to calculate the profitability of sales rep activity and make recommendations to optimize sales performanceBuild analytics plans to support A/B testing, evaluation, and launch of new sales strategies, tools, and processes
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights that support business strategy and growth

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• 6+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL as well as data analysis tools such as Python or R
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Ability to build complex, but clear analytical models and forecasts in Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience analyzing and making recommendations to sales and commission plans for a large sales organization
• Experience leveraging AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cortex Code) for automation and daily workflow efficiency
• Experience with headcount planning and sales organization support analytics preferred
• Proven ability to develop and apply predictive models to enhance sales performance
• Strong communication skills to present complex data to cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in coaching or mentoring junior team members

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary band for this position ranges from $100,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
• This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus.
