Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking an experienced Ride Electrician to perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of amusement ride electrical systems up to 480V. The role requires reading schematics, working with PLCs, and coordinating with maintenance teams to keep guests safe.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED with additional electronics coursework or college in control systems.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years combined educational and work experience in troubleshooting and repair of complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, rebuilds and inspects ride electrical systems and components.
• Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions using electrical schematics, PLCs, meters and test equipment.
• Input maintenance data and keep records in log books and work orders.
• Maintain rides to Knott’s Berry Farm standards to ensure guest safety.
• Assist Ride Maintenance Technicians as needed.
• Maintain safe work practices and use PPE.
