Refrigeration Systems Construction and Service is seeking experienced ammonia refrigeration service technicians to join our Western U.S. field team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial ammonia systems, communicating clearly with customers and ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Ammonia refrigeration experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and safe work habits.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Experience with compressors, controls, valves, motors, electrical troubleshooting, and system startups preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Toubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose issues involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, controls, VFDs, and related equipment.
• Perform emergency service, leak response, preventive maintenance, system evaluations, and startup support.
• Read and work from P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control drawings.
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Complete accurate field documentation and follow strong safety practices on every job.
• Help customers reduce downtime, improve reliability, and keep refrigeration systems operating as they should.
