Job summary

Refrigeration Systems Construction and Service in Dallas, TX is seeking experienced ammonia refrigeration service technicians who can diagnose and repair industrial systems in the field. Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and safe work habits.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Experience with compressors, controls, valves, motors, electrical troubleshooting, and system startups.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to travel and participate in on-call service.
• Certifications such as RETA CARO/CIRO, OSHA, EPA Universal valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose issues involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, controls, VFDs, and related equipment.
• Perform emergency service, leak response, preventive maintenance, system evaluations, and startup support.
• Read and work from P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control drawings.
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
• Complete accurate field documentation and follow strong safety practices on every job.
• Help customers reduce downtime, improve reliability, and keep refrigeration systems operating as they should.
