Refrigeration Systems Construction and Service in Salinas, CA is seeking experienced ammonia refrigeration technicians who can troubleshoot, service, and repair complex industrial systems in the field. You’ll walk into engine rooms, diagnose issues, and communicate clearly with customers to restore safe and reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ammonia refrigeration experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and safe work habits.
• Ability to work independently in the field while contributing to a team.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and participate in on-call service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
• Diagnose issues involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, controls, VFDs
• Perform emergency service, leak response, preventive maintenance, startup support
• Read and work from P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control drawings
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams
• Complete accurate field documentation and follow safety practices on every job
• Help customers reduce downtime and keep refrigeration systems operating as they should
