Job summary

The Bancorp Bank, N.A. is seeking an AVP FCRM Systems Intelligence Analyst for a hybrid role based in Sioux Falls, SD or Wilmington, DE.

You will develop AML compliance projects, draft requirements, tune monitoring systems, and present findings to senior management, auditors, and examiners. Key responsibilities include managing project plans, validating BSA/AML/OFAC models, and collaborating across departments to improve monitoring coverage and analytics.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of business analyst experience in financial services.
• Minimum of 1 year of project management experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of BSA, AML, OFAC, and compliance experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience testing and validating BSA, AML, and OFAC models.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience tuning and optimizing BSA and AML monitoring.
• Experience defining key risk metrics, dashboards, and analytics.
• Experience mapping AML coverage to Actimize SAM rule sets.
• Familiarity with BSA, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act regulations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with SQL, scripting, and deployment cycles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develops and reviews requirements, specifications, and documentation (SOWs, test scripts, runbooks).
• Assists SAM tuning with rule coverage mapping and threshold tuning, testing, and documentation.
• Drafts and manages project plans, dependencies, risks.
• Drafts business requirements and memos, gains stakeholder buy-in.
• Applies analytical judgment to draw conclusions and recommendations.
• Provides AML compliance support to operating teams.
• Manages Quickbase to track issues and assists IT with prioritization.
• Assists with vendor discussions and feasibility studies for new tools.
• Presents analyses and findings to executives with evidence-backed recommendations.
• Maintains analytics documentation for audits and examinations.
• Prepares materials for audits and examinations.
• Collaborates across departments to address process and monitoring results.
