Job summary

The Bancorp Bank, N.A. is seeking a FCRM Quality Assurance Analyst I to perform QA reviews of AML and OFAC processes in our risk management program, with a hybrid work arrangement in Wilmington, DE.

The role focuses on reviewing alerts, escalating non-compliant work, supporting the QA Team Lead, and documenting findings to strengthen regulatory compliance and prevent supervision concerns.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of investigative experience with specific emphasis on BSA/AML and/or fraud prevention, including 3 years of writing and filing SARs and 1 year of BSA/AML quality assurance.
• Strong working knowledge of AML, BSA, and OFAC regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews alerts and work performed by other analysts related to surveillance and monitoring, investigative reviews, the subpoena process, due diligence, and sanctions wire reviews.
• Escalates alerts, cases, and SARs that do not meet corporate BSA standards, and follows through to resolution.
• Assists the QA Team Lead with administration of quality assurance requirements and procedures to ensure that standards are maintained and that processes and work adhere to risk-based standards for compliance testing.
• Coordinates with department leadership on quality assurance findings and recommendations to improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of documents and processes.
• Develops new reviews to support business processes.
• Provides ad hoc technical and administrative support for the department.
