Job summary

The Bancorp Bank seeks an AVP FCRM Systems Intelligence Analyst to lead AML/compliance technology initiatives. Hybrid work in Sioux Falls, SD or Wilmington, DE. You will develop project plans, write requirements, and validate models to strengthen AML/Sanctions capabilities.

You will tune rules, coordinate testing, and present findings to senior management, auditors, and examiners while ensuring regulatory alignment and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of business analyst experience in financial services.
• Minimum of 1 year of project management experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), AML, OFAC, and compliance experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience testing and validating BSA, AML, and OFAC models preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience tuning and optimizing BSA and AML monitoring and detection systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of BSA, OFAC, the USA PATRIOT Act, and related regulations, directives, and guidance as they affect processes, systems, and technology.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the Bank.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reviews business requirements, functional specifications, and technology translation documents.
• Assists with rule coverage mapping, threshold tuning, testing, and documentation.
• Drafts and manages project plans, dependencies, risks, and milestones.
• Drafts business requirements, procedural documents, and memos with stakeholder buy-in.
• Applies analytical judgment to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Provides AML compliance support to operating teams as issues arise.
• Manages the Quickbase application to track issues and requests.
• Assists with vendor discussions, proofs of concept, and feasibility studies.
• Presents analysis and findings to executives, auditors, and examiners with evidence-based recommendations.
• Maintains documentation to support analytics and audits.
