Job summary

The Bancorp Bank, N.A. is seeking an AVP FCRM Systems Intelligence Analyst to lead AML compliance projects and AML technology initiatives in a hybrid role at our Sioux Falls, SD or Wilmington, DE offices.

You will develop project plans, draft business requirements, and coordinate UAT to enhance AML and sanctions platforms. The role requires strong AML risk knowledge, data analytics, SQL, and the ability to work with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of business analyst experience in financial services.
• Minimum of 1 year of project management experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of BSA, AML, OFAC, and compliance experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience testing and validating BSA, AML, and OFAC models preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience tuning and optimizing BSA and AML monitoring and detection systems preferred.
• Experience defining key risk metrics, dashboards, and analytics preferred.
• Familiarity with BSA, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act, and related regulations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with SQL and coding concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reviews business requirements and specifications, including test plans and runbooks.
• Assists SAM tuning manager with rule coverage, threshold tuning, testing, and documentation.
• Drafts and manages project plans, dependencies, risks, and stakeholders buy-in.
• Gleans insights and provides recommendations with minimal guidance.
• Provides AML compliance support to operating teams.
• Manages the Quickbase app to track issues and improvements.
• Assists with vendor discussions and feasibility studies for next-gen tools.
• Presents analysis to executives, auditors, and examiners with evidence-based recommendations.
• Maintains analytics documentation to support audits and examinations.
• Supports leadership in compiling materials for audits and examinations.
• Collaborates across operations, technology, investigations, and business units to address monitoring results.
