Job summary

CEI is seeking a Fircosoft QA Engineer to join our AML testing team. The role focuses on automation for AML platforms, including Actimize and FircoSoft, with emphasis on data-intensive testing strategies and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include owning test approaches, mentoring junior engineers, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. A strong background in Java, Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin, and API testing is required, with 6+ years in AML/financial crime tech.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in AML/Financial Crime tech.
• Leadership experience in regulated financial institutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting regulatory exams and audits.
• Hands-on with Java, Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin, API testing.

Responsibilities

• Own testing for AML platforms incl. Actimize and FircoSoft. Define test approach and criteria.
• Design, build and maintain automated UI and API tests; improve automation coverage.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and review tests/automation code.
• Ensure automated tests run reliably in CI pipelines and provide quality metrics.
• Design meaningful test scenarios with domain knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Test RESTful and SOAP services; implement service virtualization and test stubbing.
• Validate data integrity across systems and assess DB impacts.
