Robinhood is seeking a Senior Specialist in Model Validation & Analytics to advance the Financial Crimes program. You will validate and optimize transaction monitoring and filtering systems, partnering with AML and engineering teams to ensure robust model performance.

The role requires deep AML domain expertise, strong statistical skills, and the ability to clearly communicate complex findings to cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AML/Financial Crimes or risk management with model validation focus.
• Direct experience validating AML rules or ML models.
• Strong data modeling and analytics capabilities.
• Experience with data pipelines and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent analyses of surveillance models, logic, data integrity.
• Collaborate with software and data engineers to evaluate model implementations.
• Tune and calibrate models to balance detection with false positives.
• Validate data pipelines and ensure end-to-end data quality.
• Document validation work and present findings to stakeholders.
