Job summary

Bybit, a leading crypto exchange, seeks an AML/CTF professional for the second line of defense. You will bridge regulatory expectations with operational reality, owning improvements to processes and controls across AML/CTF activities.

You will challenge first-line teams with evidence-based findings, drive measurable enhancements, and support regulatory examinations to strengthen Bybit's risk posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on AML/CTF experience in 1LoD and 2LoD environments.
• Proven track record of identifying process failures and driving improvements in AML/compliance.
• Knowledge of AMLD IV/V/VI, FATF, and EBA AML/CTF guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Map and assess end-to-end AML/CTF processes (CDD, transaction monitoring, screening, SAR, ODD).
• Translate findings into prioritised improvement proposals with risk rationale and owners.
• Challenge first-line teams with evidence-based positions while maintaining regulatory alignment.
• Act as internal SME on AML/CTF requirements and global best practices.
• Track implementation of process changes to completion and escalate when needed.
• Support regulatory exams, internal audits, and third-line reviews with documented input.
• Contribute to AFC risk assessment by surfacing process-level gaps.
