Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a senior technical owner for AML/sanctions platforms. You will oversee back-end administration, platform stability, and upgrades, while collaborating with Compliance, IT, and external vendors to ensure regulatory readiness.

The role involves production support, system optimizations, and driving continuous improvement across the compliance tech landscape. Hybrid work with onsite days in Arlington, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience as technical owner/administrator of AML/screening platforms.
• Experience supporting 24x7 or batch-driven production systems.
• Strong knowledge of AML compliance domains (OA, OFAC, BSA).
• Bachelor’s in information systems, CS, or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and supervise AML and sanctions platforms for availability, performance, and upgrades.
• Provide Tier 2/3 production support and coordinate with infrastructure and database teams.
• Configure and maintain AML platforms, including screening rules and data pipelines.
• Develop runbooks, documentation, and operational standards; ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Compliance, IT, Security, and vendors; drive improvements.
