Job summary

EY Consulting seeks an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program Management Senior Manager to shape and deliver large-scale AMI transformations for Power & Utilities clients across North America. You will lead senior-level pursuits, guide multi-workstream teams, and build trusted relationships with utility stakeholders to ensure measurable outcomes.

Located for West coast preference but open to anywhere in the US, travel 65-80% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of direct AMI program management experience with hands-on delivery.
• Experience leading a large North American AMI deployment across planning, mobilization, delivery and operationalization.
• Professional services or consulting experience delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs.
• Approximately three or more years of consulting experience, including client service delivery and stakeholder management.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and client delivery.
• Travel willingness and ability to travel 65-80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AMI pursuits and delivery engagements with focus on quality and risk management.
• Guide AMI program management pursuits, including strategy, pricing, proposals, and approvals.
• Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in governance forums.
• Guide AMI delivery across planning, mobilization, requirements, and field deployment.
• Stand up integrated PMOs with governance, RAID, change control and executive reporting.
• Manage large, multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics.
