Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the AMI Technology Strategy & Vendor Management within Westminster, CA. The role focuses on governance, architecture, and interoperability across meters, networks, and analytics to deliver secure, scalable AMI 2.0 solutions.

You will partner with engineering, cybersecurity, procurement, and vendor teams to guide technology roadmaps, manage risks, and drive execution while supporting the company’s long‑term grid modernization

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience supervising a team.
• Experience performing engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the AMI 2.0 technology strategy and architecture across meters, networks, head‑end systems, MDMS, analytics, and IT/OT platforms.
• Lead end‑to‑end technical requirements governance, including traceability, standards, change control, and cross‑ecosystem design decisions.
• Oversee vendor technology and roadmap governance, ensuring releases, certifications, and lifecycle plans align with program objectives.
