Delta Computer Consulting is seeking a Senior AMI Engineer in Westminster, CA to validate AMI 2.0 metering solutions and support field deployment. You will work with engineering, operations, and vendors to ensure hardware functionality and system readiness for pilot deployments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in metering or smart grid tech, strong AMI knowledge, and proven testing experience in lab or field environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience with metering systems or smart grid technologies.
Strong understanding of AMI systems.
Experience with hardware, functionality, integration, and testing.
Experience in lab/technical testing environments.

Responsibilities

Validate AMI 2.0 metering solutions and hardware functionality.
Test hardware specifications and functionality of metering solutions.
Support integration and system testing of AMI technologies.
Collaborate with metering vendors on development, issues, and enhancements.
Evaluate interoperability and technical feasibility of AMI systems.
Troubleshoot metering technologies and field tools.
Support deployment readiness and field readiness activities.
Coordinate with engineering, IT, operations, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
