Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Phoenix, AZ for the Engines & Power Systems space. You will lead the implementation of new manufacturing techniques, review designs for manufacturability, and manage MRL and UPC models to meet APQP goals.

The role requires APQP, DFMEA, PPAP experience, and collaboration with Engineering and Sourcing to meet capacity and cost targets. On-site position with emphasis on PLM tools and Lean methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Electrical, Aerospace).
• 5+ years of Engineering, Technical Program Management or Integrated Supply Chain experience.
• 3+ years performing manufacturing engineering and/or technical program management on complex mechanical or electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of new manufacturing techniques.
• Review conceptual and development designs for cost, quality, manufacturability, and yield.
• Manage Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) items to meet IPDS goals.
• Manage Unit Product Cost (UPC) models to meet Flawless Launch and APQP goals.
• Ensure DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, and PPAP artifacts are leveraged.
• Interface with Engineering and Sourcing to identify suppliers meeting capacity and cost targets.
• Drive Product Development process adherence and cost take-out initiatives.
• Support Production Transitions and scheduling for program milestones.
