Job summary

Oowlish Technology in the United States is seeking a Senior Amazon Connect Engineer to design and implement enterprise-scale contact center and AI-powered solutions. You will build contact flows, AI agents, and serverless integrations across AWS services and Bedrock, collaborating with customer engineering teams to drive production releases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building enterprise-scale CCaaS with Amazon Connect or similar.
• Strong AWS serverless development experience.
• Experience with Generative AI solutions.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js and Python development.
• Production React development experience.
• Infrastructure as Code experience (AWS CDK or Terraform).
• Experience deploying and supporting production systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and build enterprise contact center solutions using Amazon Connect.
• Develop contact flows, routing, Customer Profiles, Cases, Tasks in Connect.
• Build AI-powered conversational experiences using Bedrock and Connect AI.
• Develop AI agents with tool-calling, workflows, and guardrails.
• Implement escalation, fallback, and error handling for conversations.
• Build backend integrations with AWS Lambda and serverless services.
• Develop serverless, event-driven solutions with EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.
• Create custom agent/admin experiences using React and Connect Streams API.
• Integrate contact center with CRM and enterprise platforms.
• Create IaC using AWS CDK and/or Terraform; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
