Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Alternative Investments Fund Accountant to support hedge funds, private equity funds and related products.

You will act as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships, ensuring GAAP-compliant processing, recording trades, and preparing investor statements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years in portfolio/partnership accounting, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five+ years of related experience in portfolio/partnership accounting, finance or portfolio management.
• Advent Geneva knowledge a plus.
• Thorough knowledge in accounting, reporting, and analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset values (NAVs) and disseminate financial and performance information to the investment advisor and investors.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and apply valuation of securities in the portfolio accounting system.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules.
