Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing is seeking a Fund Accountant for a Hedge Fund to join its Alternative Investments Accounting Team in New York. The role supports the month-end close, prepares monthly financial statements, and liaises with the fund administrator and auditors.

You will gain exposure to accounting for private credit, real estate, and equity funds through a collaborative team. CPA preferred with 2–5 years in fund accounting or FS audit.

Qualifications

• CPA strongly preferred with 2–5 years of fund accounting experience and/or FS audit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
• Experience with hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds, CLOs, or similar investments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end close and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Oversee the fund administrator and coordinate with auditors.
• Support year-end audits and ad-hoc tasks.

Job description

A Hedge Fund is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its Alternative Investments Accounting Team. Reporting to the Fund Controllers, this person will join a highly collaborative team and assist the Fund Controllers with completing the month-end financial close process, preparing monthly financial statements, overseeing the fund administrator, assisting in year-end audits, and performing other responsibilities as may be reasonably assigned from time to time.

The Fund Accountant role presents an opportunity to be involved in all accounting aspects for private credit, real estate, and equity funds.

Qualifications:
