Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, CNG, RNG and EV charging equipment across our network. You will perform inspections, follow safety procedures, document all activity, and ensure reliable operation of station systems.

You will drive a company vehicle between sites for daily preventative maintenance and repairs on compressors, pumps, valves and related components.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School diploma or GED (accredited) required.
Valid Driver’s License and meet state requirements as required by law.
Knowledge and/or experience in electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, CNG, RNG, and mechanical strongly preferred.
Industry verbal and written communication skills, data entry, attention to detail, self-motivated, multitask with excellent time management skills.
Ability to interpret and utilize service software and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to execute mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and accomplish necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

Drive a company vehicle between sites to perform daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on equipment related to hydraulic, CNG, RNG, and EV charging stations.
Repairs, replaces, and adjusts malfunctioning equipment including compressors, pumps, engines, valves, actuators, and other components per manufacturers recommendations and SOPs.
Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections and documents all activity, parts used, and details in online platforms.
Retain knowledge of and comply with all applicable regulations around operating around CNG, RNG, Hydrogen, Biodiesel, and EV charging stations.
General maintenance of stations including cleaning fueling equipment, canopies, lots and surroundings.
Maintains professional communication with dispatch, peers, management, and other entities as needed.
Follow company guidelines regarding professional conduct when dealing with customers, employees, vendors, and the motoring public.
Other duties as assigned.
