Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair a range of mechanical and electrical systems on trucks and equipment. You’ll assist customers with roadside services and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and follow safety policies. The role includes a rotating day/night schedule and potential DOT medical-card requirements funded by Love’s.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters; work in varying temperatures
• Always put customer safety and satisfaction first, following safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
