Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Oklahoma City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair equipment at Love's Alternative Energy stations. You will drive a company vehicle to sites, diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, and perform preventative maintenance on CNG, RNG, and EV related infrastructure.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong troubleshooting skills; experience with CNG/RNG systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License and meet state requirements.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, CNG, RNG, and mechanical systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle for daily preventative maintenance and repairs at Love's facilities and third-party sites.
• Repair and adjust malfunctioning equipment including compressors, pumps, engines, valves, and attachments.
• Perform inspections and document work performed, parts used, and findings in online platforms.
• Comply with all safety and regulatory standards around CNG, RNG, hydrogen, biodiesel, and EV charging stations.
• Maintain station cleanliness and general upkeep; communicate with dispatch and management as needed.

Job Functions:

• Drive a company vehicle to or between company sites to perform daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on equipment related to hydraulic, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), and EV Charging stations at Love’s Travel Stop’s facilities and various third-party customers.

• Repairs, replaces, and adjusts malfunctioning equipment to include but not limited to compressors, pumps, engines, intercoolers, piping, valves, fittings, actuators, gasdryersand other functional componentsin accordance withmanufacturersrecommendations and standard operating procedures.

• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections as required documenting allactivityto include work performed during inspections, parts consumed, and anyadditionalpertinent details in applicable online platforms.

• Retain knowledge of andcomply with, all applicable federal, state, local and company rules/regulations that arein accordance withthe acceptedprincipalsof the safe operation working around Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Hydrogen, Biodiesel, and EV Charging stations.

• General Maintenance of stations to include but not limited to, picking up and emptying trash cans, cleaning fueling equipment,canopy, fueling lots, surrounding landscape maintenance in, around, or outside of fueling enclosures.

• Maintains professional communication with dispatch, peers, Management, and other entities as needed/required.

• Follow all company guidelinesregardingprofessional conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees, vendors, and the motoring public.

• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High School diploma or GED (accredited)required.

• Valid Driver’s License and meet state requirements as required by law.

• Knowledge and/or experience in electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), and mechanical STRONGLY preferred.

• Industry verbal and written communication skills, data entry, attention to detail, self-motivated, ability to multitask with excellent time management skills.

• Ability to interpret andutilizeservice software AND have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as but not limited to Microsoft Outlook,Exceland Word.

• Ability to execute mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to diagnose andaccomplishnecessary repairs.

Background Checks:

Physical Demands:

• Availability to respond to on-call service requests, 24/7 and365 daysper year.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat and climb as needed to perform routine inspections and maintenance.

• Physically able tooperatea motorized vehicle, walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, climb, type on computer keyboard, and use of required hand tools, to perform routine inspections and maintenance as needed.

• Willingness tooperateunder all types of weather conditions.

• Required travel as needed.

• Required to provideowntools to perform routine maintenance and repairs of equipment.
