Job summary

Perigon Wealth Management in San Francisco, CA seeks an experienced Alternative Investment Operations Specialist to own the full operational lifecycle of the firm’s alternative investment program, from data management to reporting accuracy and platform administration.

You will coordinate with advisors, custodians, and fund sponsors, maintain data feeds between Canoe/Orion, and support onboarding of new alternative investment accounts, including data migration during M&A activity.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment operations, data operations, or portfolio accounting with emphasis on alternative investments.
• Strong understanding of performance reporting and data reconciliation across systems.
• Experience with Canoe, Arch, Bridge, iCap, CAIS, GLASFunds, Allocate or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Orion or equivalent reporting systems and Excel.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO and Head of Alternative Investments to maintain knowledge of new and approved funds and platforms.
• Ensure accurate reporting in Orion including positions, transactions, valuations and performance.
• Own and manage data feeds between Canoe/Orion and custodians, validating private investment data.
• Monitor data exceptions, reconciliations, and resolve breaks across Canoe, Orion, and custodians.
• Troubleshoot data mapping, valuation discrepancies and performance calculation errors.
• Assist with M&A onboarding including data migration and position setup.
• Support pre-trade subscriptions, post-trade capital calls, distributions and valuations.
• Maintain procedure documentation for reporting processes.
• Coordinate with fund sponsors, administrators and access platforms (iCapital, CAIS, GLASFunds).
• Contribute to process improvement and automation across operations.
