Athene is seeking an Associate Vice President, Asset Liability Management (ALM) to lead governance, analytics, and strategic asset allocation across its retirement platforms. The role partners with senior leaders to translate market dynamics into actionable ALM recommendations, shaping risk management, valuation, and capital planning.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in ALM-related roles, strong leadership, and deep expertise in fixed income, derivatives, and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in asset liability management or related fields.
• 4+ years of formal or informal leadership experience.
• Expertise in ALM, fixed income, derivatives, cash flow analysis.
• Strong Excel; familiarity with Python/SQL and data visualization.

Responsabilités

• Lead ALM assumption and model governance with documentation and change controls.
• Oversee entity and portfolio ALM and asset allocation, assess liquidity and risks.
• Collaborate with Investments, Actuarial, Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Corporate Development.
• Evaluate strategic asset allocation and regulatory implications for US and Bermuda.
• Provide senior-level analysis on market developments and advise leadership.
• Advance ALM analytics, establish reporting sources, automate with governance.
