Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a senior Leader of Asset Liability Management (ALM) to shape investment strategy, manage liquidity and capital, and lead a team of ALM professionals. You will partner with investment, treasury, risk, actuarial, and product teams to optimize asset allocation and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong quantitative background, extensive ALM or investments experience, and leadership capabilities in a complex financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Understands fixed income, equity, derivative asset class concepts and relationships.
• Experience leading people and projects related to investments and finance.
• 10+ years of experience in investments and/or ALM in financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ALM strategies and risk targets for Nationwide Financial portfolios.
• Develop hedging strategies to manage balance sheet risks and liquidity needs.
• Own asset allocation framework and asset warehouse allocation decisions.
• Coordinate with Enterprise Risk Management, Office of Investments, and Valuation teams.
