Job summary

Blue Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to develop and maintain ALM functions, measure interest rate, liquidity, credit risks, and perform what-if analyses. You will prepare reports for ALCO and senior management while guiding junior staff and leading major projects.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of similar or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel functionality and ALM analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains financial models and databases for analysis and budgeting.
• Analyzes profitability of products, services, and branches using FTP and KPI comparisons.
• Models ALM techniques including NEV and stress tests; assesses impact on budgets.
• Performs investment transactions in complex securities and analyzes portfolio performance.
• Delivers financial reports and analyses to ALCO and senior management for strategic decisions.
• Mentors junior staff and leads large projects to completion.
• Produces monthly balance sheet and income statement forecasts; participates in budgeting.
• Manages daily liquidity analysis and cash management strategies.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
