Cathay Bank is seeking a senior leader to head Asset Liability Management, reporting to the Treasurer. You will manage the ALM framework, model governance, and balance sheet analytics, ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic planning across the organization.

Responsibilities include leading the ALM team, optimizing funding, liquidity, and capital efficiency, and presenting insights to senior leadership and ALCO. Strong modeling, risk and communication skills are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting required; CFA/FRM or similar preferred.
• 7–10 years in ALM, Treasury, liquidity management or related risk disciplines; leadership experience required.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills; ability to explain complex concepts.

Mansioni

• Oversee ALM framework including modeling, forecasting, and analysis of balance sheet behavior and performance.
• Lead interest rate risk measurement activities (EVE, NII simulations, scenario analysis) and advise on balance sheet optimization.
• Manage the Empyrean ALM model, data integrity, documentation, back‑testing and governance.
• Prepare ALCO materials, regulatory reports, and internal management reporting on IRR, liquidity and balance sheet performance.
