Job summary

Upstart Bank seeks an ALM Manager to own the asset and liability management framework and interest rate risk management. You will lead implementation of the ALM platform, define behavioral assumptions, and translate model results into balance sheet and risk-management recommendations.

You will partner with Finance, Risk, Lending, Deposits, Accounting, Data, and Engineering to support a resilient balance sheet and regulator-ready reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in bank treasury, ALM, or IRR in a regulated environment.
• Experience with ALM platforms and multiple rate/balance sheet scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Own asset and liability management and IRR measurement framework.
• Lead ALM platform implementation, data mapping, model controls, and issue resolution.
• Develop behavioral and market assumptions; perform sensitivity/backtesting analyses.
• Design rate shocks, curve twists, and scenarios; monitor limits and risk indicators.
• Recommend ALM actions; collaborate with Finance, Risk, Lending, and Data teams.
