Job summary

Kenworth Division of PACCAR in Renton, Washington, is seeking a Senior Digital Sculptor to generate Class-A CAD surfaces using Alias, translating design intent with manufacturing feasibility in mind.

The role requires extensive experience in surface modeling, collaboration with design, engineering and suppliers, and delivering high-quality data for engineering release. Strong communication skills and a portfolio are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Transportation or Engineering related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience creating concept and Class-A advanced digital surfaces.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in transportation design studio.
• Portfolio demonstrating skills and projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Class-A surface CAD models from approved styling themes using Alias.
• Coordinate packaging constraints with product engineering, suppliers and Studio Engineer.
• Release high-quality Class-A surface data to Engineering groups and suppliers.
• Manage multiple projects, meeting schedule and budget targets.
• Demonstrate ability to resolve manufacturing feasibility between Industrial Design and Engineering.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across departments.
