Job summary

Our Power Applications team builds and ships control algorithms that run on hardware, with hands-on deployment and field tuning.

As a Senior Algorithms Engineer, you will own end-to-end algorithm development from theory to production, collaborating with software engineers and the principal engineer to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.
• Deep expertise in control systems and optimization with latency/noise handling.
• Track record of productionizing algorithms in physical systems.
• Strong Python (and PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and production Rust experience.
• Comfort with a continuous delivery environment and remote teamwork.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and improve control and orchestration algorithms.
• Own algorithms end to end: theory, prototyping, production, validation.
• Define measurements of performance and build benchmarks/regression suites.
• Improve robustness and operability of algorithm-driven services.
• Drive R&D for forecasting, automated tuning, and larger-scale orchestration.
