Job summary

Halogen Engineering Group is seeking a Software Engineer – Algorithm Development with TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance for Maryland-based work. The role focuses on processing-intensive analytics, algorithm development, and large data handling in a complex software environment.

Requirements include 7+ years as a SWE, front-end testing background with Robot Framework, React, Java or C++, and willingness to work onsite in Columbia, MD with day shifts. Travel not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; 7+ years of SWE experience in similar scope
• 11+ years of SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and fix defects.
• Develop software using suitable design methodologies and document results.
• Code and test software to meet requirements and performance goals.
• Lead software development teams and coordinate with system engineers.
