Job summary

Halogen Engineering Group seeks a Systems Engineer for Computer Network Support with AI/ML focus and a TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance. Location: Fort Meade, MD; onsite only; travel none. Salary range: $136,000–$140,000 yearly.

Responsibilities include analyzing AI/ML architectures, coordinating deployments with the customer, applying agile practices with Jira and Confluence, and driving process improvements across programs dealing with software, sustainment, and advanced tech initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline with at least 6 years of systems engineering experience; Master’s degree or PhD may substitute for two years of experience.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence agile development tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze proposed AI/ML architectures and provideRecommendations for design options.
• Coordinate with customer organizations to shape AI/ML deployments within the enterprise.
• Assess program management planning, execution, and reporting across software, sustainment, and advanced tech initiatives.
• Assist in operating in an agile development process and use Jira and Confluence.
• Develop new processes, ensure they are reliable, repeatable, and sustainable.
• Contribute to defining process improvement strategies and lessons learned.
