PTR Global is seeking a Security Engineering Consultant specialized in Akamai WAF and Bot Manager Premier to support enterprise migrations to AWS. This remote, 6-month engagement focuses on enhancing WAF policies, incident response, and policy tuning to balance security with application usability.

You will lead policy optimization, collaborate with cloud, application, and security teams, analyze WAF logs, and document procedures.

Formación

• 5+ years managing Akamai WAF and BMP in large enterprises.
• Hands-on incident response and policy tuning for BMP.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and WAF mitigations.
• Familiar with AWS and hybrid/multi-cloud security.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Akamai WAF policy optimization to guard against OWASP Top 10.
• Collaborate with cloud, app, and security teams to align configurations.
• Respond to security incidents with root cause analysis and mitigations.
• Manage day-to-day Akamai WAF operations and rule deployment.
• Review WAF logs/alerts; provide actionable insights.
• Document policies and incident procedures; knowledge transfer.
• Guide Akamai protections in hybrid AWS migrations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
