The Fountain Group is seeking a seasoned security professional to lead Akamai WAF and Bot Manager Premier management in a 100% remote role across the United States. You will respond to real-world web app incidents, tune policies for security and usability, and coordinate with cloud and security teams to align configurations with enterprise requirements.

Qualifications include 5+ years with Akamai WAF/BMP, OWASP Top 10 expertise, and AWS familiarity, with strong log analysis and SIEM integration

Qualificações

• Must have 5+ years managing Akamai WAF and BMP in large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience responding to web app security incidents and tuning BMP policies.
• Strong knowledge of web app security threats (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation via WAF.
• Familiarity with AWS and hybrid/multi-cloud security postures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the assessment, optimization, and improvement of Akamai WAF policies to protect against OWASP Top 10 and emerging web vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cloud, application, and security teams to align WAF/BMP configurations with business/compliance needs.
• Respond rapidly to security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Manage day-to-day Akamai WAF operations including policy updates, tuning, and false positive mitigation.
• Review WAF logs and alerts to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Assist with knowledge transfer and documentation related to WAF policies and incidents.
• Provide guidance on integrating Akamai WAF protections within a hybrid cloud environment (AWS migration).
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
